As part of the exhibition Àngel Jové De intactu , on May 22, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m., a panel discussion will take place, conceived as an exercise in critical and affective review of the relational universe that surrounded the artist's practice. Rather than reconstructing an individual trajectory, the proposal presents a collective look at a moment of profound cultural transformation, in which several creators and thinkers questioned traditional forms of representation and explored new relationships between image, matter, word and action.

Far from being understood as an isolated figure, Àngel Jové appears here inserted in a genuine constellation of creative complicities. A heterogeneous framework where experimental cinema, visual poetry, performativity and conceptual practices became shared spaces of artistic research and intellectual resistance. His work, permeable to languages and processes, thus unfolds as a territory of intersection from which to rethink the limits between art and experience.

The session will open with a lecture by Xavier Antich, who will propose a reading framework to situate these practices in relation to the cultural and political tensions of the moment. His intervention will also address the contemporary validity of those experimental forms of meaning production, especially in a current context that continues to question the critical capacity of art.

The subsequent debate will bring together figures such as Frederic Amat, Antoni Llena, Rosa Vergés and Patricia Dauder, in a conversation moderated by Maria Josep Balsach, curator of the exhibition. The meeting does not respond so much to generational criteria as to the desire to activate correspondences between diverse trajectories and sensibilities, still capable of challenging the present today.
