Miramar. Explorations of the Mar d'Amunt is the purest expression of Paco Pérez's creative cosmos, presented as an exhibition experience that invites to be lived and explored. This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to appreciate the fusion between art and gastronomy, discovering how nature, inspiration and innovation are intertwined in a constant dialogue. The exhibition not only values creativity, but also generates a social and cultural impact, in constant transformation, that rethinks the way we understand knowledge and artistic experience.

From September 4 to October 15 at the Casa de Cultura de la Diputació de Griona you can see Miramar. Explorations of the Mar d'Amunt organized by Bonart and the Miramar Restaurant in Llançà. Paco Pérez is a chef with a discreet profile, but of the highest category, Paco Pérez is the second Catalan with the most Michelin stars, surpassed only by Jordi Cruz. From his Miramar restaurant in Llançà (Girona), he heads a group of establishments spread across Catalonia, Spain and Europe.

Paco Pérez is a thoughtful and traveling chef, one of the great exponents of avant-garde gastronomy of the 21st century, and he does not usually seek out large public appearances. However, he is a restless person when it comes to creating and making quick decisions. In his restaurant, Miramar, he seeks to reflect the meaning of the name, which looks directly at the sea. Over time, he has increasingly leaned towards showing his territory, always adding a touch of play and creativity. In his mind, all kinds of cuisines and all possible ways of making and cooking coexist.

The experience, created in collaboration with Bonart, offers a series of immersive contents that guide participants on a journey to discover the Miramar proposal. Through visual, tactile, olfactory and auditory stimuli, the work that the chef has developed and still creates from the kitchen is highlighted, combining a local and international vision. At the same time, a creative ecosystem is generated, inspired by bio-awareness, which takes shape within the project with the collaboration of different professionals from the fields of art and gastronomy in the Girona region.
