Francesc Orench transforms color and memory in his new exhibition 'Deconstruction'
Casa Saladrigas in Blanes is hosting a selection of 45 works by the artist from Blanes until August 29, an exhibition where chromatic vitality and expressiveness become an invitation to look at the world from a new perspective.
Francesc Orench surprises again with a new artistic proposal that focuses on experimentation, color and the ability to reconstruct reality through painting. The artist from Blanqueto presents the exhibition Deconstruction at Casa Saladrigas, a show made up of 45 works that reveal the evolution of his own pictorial language, full of strength, optimism and intense vital energy.
Orench's compositions stand out for an explosion of colors, shapes and textures that convey a positive outlook on existence. His paintings, full of light and movement, invite the viewer to enter imagined landscapes, suggested scenes and atmospheres that oscillate between figuration and abstraction. A painting that is born of emotion and that seeks to awaken sensations beyond strict representation.
Francesc Orench's life is marked by two seemingly distant aspects: the professional and the artistic. A graduate in Criminology and Technical Architecture, for years he worked as a deputy inspector of the Mossos d'Esquadra, within the Analysis and Judicial Requirements Area of the Basic Police Area of the Selva Litoral. An activity linked to research and responsibility that contrasted with the expressive freedom and luminous nature of his pictorial work.
Despite this professional dedication, painting has always been a part of his life. His relationship with art began during his adolescence, in the seventies, when he discovered the pleasure of creating with brushes and colors. Over the years, work and family obligations temporarily sidelined this facet, but nearly two decades ago he recovered his artistic vocation and resumed the path of painting with renewed intensity.
Orench's early works were influenced by movements such as surrealism, naïve art, fauvism and impressionism. Over time, however, his style has evolved naturally, without imposed breaks, until he reaches a more free and personal painting, situated between figurative and highly expressive abstract impressionism.
His work invites us to discover spaces that can recall real landscapes, especially corners of our immediate surroundings, but also invented territories that are born from the imagination. In each piece, color assumes a leading role and becomes a tool to transmit emotions, memories and a particular way of understanding life.
Although his artistic production has a strong link with Blanes, where much of his work is concentrated, his paintings have also reached collections and spaces in Barcelona, Girona, California and the Netherlands.
