A new cultural event dedicated to traditional crafts is born with the aim of becoming a reference space for the sector. The Traditional Crafts Fair was created with the mission of promoting and highlighting artisanal trades in the contemporary context, reinforcing their cultural, creative and economic dimension.
Promoted by the Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion (CCAM) and Le Département, and with the support of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the fair is conceived as a meeting point between professionals, prescribers, creators and the general public. The objective is clear: to give visibility to excellent craftsmanship and encourage the exchange of knowledge between disciplines and generations.
The event will take place on November 6, 7 and 8, 2026 at the Castell de Cardona, and aspires to consolidate itself as a platform for showcasing artisan talent, while claiming the validity of traditional trades in today's society.
In this first edition, a call for entries has been opened for artisans, active from May 1 to June 30, 2026. Creators who represent technical excellence and the continuity of the artisanal tradition are sought. A Cultural Committee formed by specialists from various disciplines will be in charge of evaluating the portfolios presented, selecting those works that stand out for their quality, their creative value and their ability to transmit the living essence of craftsmanship.
