The Sala Muncunill in Terrassa is preparing to receive And, suddenly, chance. Uncertainties, destinies and coincidences in the MACBA Collection , a traveling exhibition promoted by the Visual Arts Program of the Barcelona Provincial Council with the collaboration of MACBA and several municipalities in the region.
Curated by Claudia Elies , the exhibition proposes a reflective look at the presence of chance in our existence, articulated around three key ideas: uncertainty, destiny and chance. Through a selection of works from the MACBA collection, the non-linear journey invites the visitor to delve into the unpredictable, with water as a central metaphor.
The opening will take place on Friday, April 10 at 6 p.m., with a guided tour by the curator herself. The exhibition will be open until June 14, before continuing its tour through other municipalities until early 2028.

During its stay in Terrassa, the proposal will be completed with several parallel activities. Among them, highlighted are commented visits for adults under the title Choreographies of the Uncertain , accessible sessions with interpretation in sign language, and family activities designed to introduce the youngest to the concept of chance. Also included is a conversation around magic and alchemy in the work of Joan Ponç, with the participation of Caterina Almirall and Pilar Bonet.
Before arriving in Terrassa, the exhibition has already stopped in Manresa and Martorell, and will continue its itinerary through cities such as Ripollet, Badalona, Vilafranca del Penedès, Vilanova i la Geltrú, Vic, Granollers and Mataró, consolidating itself as a long-term cultural proposal within the territory.
