In room 4 of the Palau Robert you can see the exhibition Les Corbes de la Ment , a new documentary photography proposal by the visual artist Núria López Torres, curated by the cultural manager Carol Rojo Rubio and coordinated by the Photographic Social Vision Foundation.
The exhibition, which will run until February 22, 2026, is divided into three interconnected blocks, designed to give order and depth to a topic as broad and complex as mental health. Art has the power to give shape to what often cannot be put into words. Painting, photography or sculpture can be tools to explore emotions, understand suffering and open spaces for dialogue about mental health. By showing vulnerability and personal experiences, art connects with the interior of each person and contributes to making realities that are often silenced visible.
The first block analyzes the state of the issue, focusing on people with diverse profiles and from different social, cultural and economic contexts. It also examines the role of the family and the responses offered by both institutions and the private sector, as well as the tools available to society to address mental health challenges.

The second block focuses on children, adolescents and young people, the future of our society, addressing the phenomenon of “screen addiction”. The exhibition discusses how the explosion of new technologies is affecting the physical, mental and emotional health of young people and what challenges it poses for families.
Finally, the third block focuses on the problem of suicide, an extreme consequence of psychological and mental suffering that often does not receive an adequate response from the family, society or institutions. Every day 11 people die in Spain by suicide, leaving behind a trail of desolation among their loved ones. The exhibition addresses the feelings of guilt, shame and silence that often make the grieving process and the closure of this deep wound difficult.
Les Corbes de la Ment invites reflection and awareness about the complexity of mental health, a topic that, unfortunately, remains taboo in many areas of our society.
