Until April 6, CaixaForum Barcelona is hosting Som Natureesa , a temporary exhibition that offers a contemporary and captivating look at biodiversity. This show combines art, science and technology to create an immersive journey that reveals the complexity and beauty of the natural world.
With an innovative visual and sensory approach, the exhibition invites visitors to connect with nature and reflect on the need to protect it. Each space along the route is designed to raise awareness and encourage positive action towards the environment, offering an experience that is both educational and exciting.

The immersive experience, which spans 68 minutes, unfolds in three audiovisual pieces that offer complementary and profound insights into the natural world. Each work proposes a unique approach to biodiversity, combining high-impact visual resources with a narrative that invites reflection.
The first space, A World in Constant Growth , opens the tour with a celebration of the majesty and magnitude of nature. Through spectacular images from the National Geographic archives, visitors are transported to remote landscapes and fascinating ecosystems, where life expands, adapts and transforms incessantly. The work thus becomes a gateway to the immensity of the planet, offering a look that combines admiration, respect and an invitation to observe the world with a new sensitivity.
Along these lines, the piece entitled We are interconnected claims coexistence and the need to protect the bonds that sustain nature, reminding us that, by preserving it, we also guarantee our own survival.

The third and final space, Facing the Challenge , adopts a more narrative tone and shows how the collective effort of humanity can reverse the destructive cycles that threaten the planet. In addition to presenting a set of immersive images that travel through some of the most impressive places on Earth, the exhibition introduces several international initiatives that have managed to recover or protect biodiversity, demonstrating that joint action can make a difference.
Combining image and music, the exhibition proposes a sensory journey that exalts the indomitable beauty of biodiversity while revealing the wounds and dangers that threaten it. It is an immersive story that awakens awareness and invites us to preserve what nature offers us with such generosity.
Produced and distributed by Oasis Immersive Studios, and created in collaboration with National Geographic, the exhibition arrives in Barcelona after having captivated audiences in Montreal and Mexico City, bringing with it the vibrant breath of their landscapes and the urgent call to protect them.
