The artist's book, the photobook and self-publishing once again occupy a central place in the Barcelona cultural panorama with a new edition of ArtsLibris, the International Fair of the Artist's Book, the Photobook and Self-Publishing. From October 30 to November 1, the MACBA, at the Convent dels Àngels, hosts the seventeenth edition of an event that has consolidated itself as one of the leading international events in the field of artist publications, contemporary thought, bibliophilia and independent publishing practices.
With more than a hundred national and international publishers, ArtsLibris offers a journey through a diverse publishing scene, in which the book is no longer just a dissemination medium to become a space for creation, experimentation and research. Artist publications, photobooks, independent editions and digital formats draw a territory in which disciplines, languages and different ways of understanding visual culture converge. The fair is completed with a program of activities that includes conversations, presentations and workshops, conceived as spaces for dialogue between creators, publishers, artists and the public.

Beyond its commercial dimension, ArtsLibris represents an opportunity to discover unique publishing projects, get to know those responsible up close and establish connections between initiatives that share the same desire to explore the limits of publication. A cartography of contemporary creation that finds in the book a cultural object with its own identity and a tool for generating knowledge.
In this context, Bonart is once again present at the fair with its own stand, reaffirming its commitment to the dissemination of contemporary art and different forms of cultural communication. The participation also becomes an opportunity to publicize its latest editorial news, with special prominence given to the third edition of Bonart Internacional, published last September, and issue 204 of the Bonart magazine in Catalan, which is already in bookstores and distribution points.
The presence at ArtsLibris allows us to share these publications with readers, artists, professionals and agents in the publishing sector, but also opens up new avenues of conversation and collaboration. During the days of the fair, Bonart will record different podcasts that will soon be published on its international YouTube channel, thus expanding the spaces for meeting and reflection that are part of its editorial and communication activity.
