The Argentona Pitcher Museum hosted the presentation of the Pitcher of the Year 2026, a new edition signed by Ramon Benedito and Gae Benedito. The piece takes as its starting point the form and essence of the traditional pitcher to offer a contemporary, refined and elegant reading, faithful to the will of its authors to capture what Ramon Benedito defines as the 'luxury of simplicity'.
The proposal stands out for its balance between tradition and modernity. Without renouncing the functional and symbolic identity of the pitcher, the new design introduces current lines and a renewed look at this object so deeply rooted in Catalan popular culture. The result is a sober and refined piece, conceived by the Benedito Design studio with the support of state-of-the-art tools, which reinforce the formal precision and contemporaneity of the whole.
With this creation, the Pitcher of the Year 2026 takes over from the 2025 piece, signed by the architect Benedetta Tagliabue, and continues a tradition that year after year turns Argentona into a meeting point between craftsmanship, design and heritage.
