This summer, the MORERA. Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Lleida opens its doors at an unusual time to invite the public to rediscover art from a more sensory, participatory and contemporary perspective. With the program Les Nits del MORERA, the museum is transformed into a territory of experimentation where light, sound, live actions and shared creativity give new life to its exhibitions.
The proposal will be implemented in three special evenings—on June 27, July 18 and August 22—, each conceived by different creators and curators who will convert the museum's spaces into a laboratory for nocturnal artistic experiences.

The first event, on June 27, will be directed by Antoni Pinent and will bring together the interventions of Yolanda Uriz, Neil Harbisson, Eloi el Bon Noi and Turbulente, in a night dedicated to the exploration of the limits between the body, technology, sound and perception.
On July 18, Jesús Vilamajó will take over, with a program that will include artistic actions by Àlvar Calvet, Núria Martínez-Vernis and Marta Bisbal Torres, accompanied by a musical proposal with DJ Gatasanta, Roserona and other participants.
The third and final evening will arrive on August 22, under the direction of Laia Pulido, with an experience that will bring together the proposal of SiiGii and the projects of the EKHO Group, among which Natura naturans and Retrats sonors stand out, opening a dialogue between landscape, memory and listening.

'Lux Mundi': when medieval memory dialogues with the digital future
Coinciding with the start of Les Nits del MORERA, from June 27 to August 30, the museum's Digital Atrium will host the immersive installation Lux Mundi, an audiovisual experience that draws a bridge between the 11th century and contemporary digital creation.
Curated by Antònia Folguera, the work invites you to revisit the emblematic frescoes of the apse of Sant Climent de Taüll, preserved for a century at the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC), through the eyes of four prominent digital artists: Alba G. Corral, Desilence, Hamill Industries and MASSO.
The installation combines heritage, technology and visual art to project images of the past towards new future imaginaries. The tour is completed with a soundtrack created by Tarta Relena, which, based on the traditional songbook of the Mediterranean and other sound geographies, opens a timeless space where past, present and future coexist.
