The CREATEACH training cycle, promoted by the Government of Catalonia, was born with the aim of strengthening and professionalizing the digital art sector in Catalonia. This initiative will be developed through several training sessions scheduled for this summer, with the first session scheduled for June 16, 2026 at the Arts Santa Mònica Auditorium, and the second on July 15, 2026 at the Palau Marc.
CREATEACH not only focuses on artistic creation, but also seeks to equip participants with technical tools and knowledge about project management, legal aspects and international circuits of digital art. The first session, entitled "The technical portfolio and the rider", will be dedicated to learning how to structure and adequately communicate the technical needs of a digital artistic project. This session will be taught by prominent professionals in the sector, such as Anna Diaz, director of Hamill Industries, and Oriol Pastor, director of the MIRA Digital Arts Festival.
The second session, scheduled for July 15, will focus on "Internationalization Strategies." Participants will learn to identify international digital art circuits and adapt the presentation of their projects according to different cultural and professional contexts, with the participation of speakers such as Antonia Folguera and Xavier Ruiz.
In addition, the cycle will include future sessions on topics such as rights and ethics in the use of algorithms, as well as the public funding ecosystem. Registration for these trainings is now open, with limited places, and can be done through the website of the Government of Catalonia.
