Every year, the picturesque town of Cadaqués becomes a living stage for visual creation thanks to the InCadaqués International Photography Festival. This international initiative provides an immersion into the world of images and their creators for approximately ten days, with an artistic proposal that goes beyond the static exhibition.
InCadaqués was born with the desire to give visibility and recognition to both emerging artists and consolidated creators, nationally and internationally, selected for the quality and innovative nature of their proposals. The festival establishes a dialogue between the rich artistic history of Cadaqués —an emblematic town that in the 20th century seduced figures such as Salvador Dalí, Man Ray and Marcel Duchamp— and its exceptional natural environment, in the heart of the Cap de Creus Natural Park. This fusion between art and landscape is manifested in the diversity of formats and exhibition spaces it proposes.

During the festival, the works are displayed in around twenty different spaces: art galleries, emblematic places in the municipality, historic buildings and unexpected settings. Some proposals take the form of underwater installations —visible from the promenade or immersed directly in the sea—, while others experiment with unconventional materials and techniques.
In addition, InCadaqués offers a wide program of parallel activities that includes workshops, screenings, book presentations, photographic tours, openings and meetings between artists, collectors and the public. This variety of experiences makes the festival an open and enriching event, designed for both professionals and photography enthusiasts.

The ninth InCadaqués International Photography Festival invites the public to enter the universe of the image and its creators. For eighteen days, the unique Dalinian town is transformed into an open stage where photographers from all over the world share their vision. Every corner, dry stone wall and alley becomes a canvas open to creativity. Galleries, cafes, restaurants and cultural spaces come together to give life to a festival that fills Cadaqués with art, dialogue and inspiration.
