The 36th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion will be held at the Sant Pau Modernist Site between October 14 and 17. The event will include 25 shows by 24 designers and brands, in an edition focused on sustainability and innovation.
This year, 080 Barcelona Fashion is committed to showcasing the creative ecosystem of fashion in a comprehensive way: from the talent that inspires, through the design that awakens creativity, to the production that reveals the secrets of the industry. All with the aim of weaving synergies between creative disciplines and valuing the art of collaboration.

These new products were presented on October 1 at the ME Hotel in Barcelona, with the presence of designers and brands, as well as Moisés Rodríguez i Cantón, director of the Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion of Catalonia, and Marta Coca, head of the fashion area and project manager of 080 Barcelona Fashion.
One of the main novelties is the complicity and collaboration of the Barcelona City Council with the Generalitat de Catalunya in order to reinforce the values and be the backbone of the 080 Barcelona Fashion Fashion Platform: Creativity, sustainability, uniqueness as a platform of dreams where brands explain, through clothes, how we are as people - commented Moisés Rodríguez, director of the Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion. The collaboration of the Barcelona City Council materializes with the celebration of the Barcelona Fashion Forward entrepreneur program, through Disseny Hub and Barcelona Activa, which will present the winning companies of its sixth edition. In addition, the catwalk is joined by the 7th edition of the MODA-FAD Sustainable Challenge under the name of “Collective Mending”: a creative marathon, where 30 students from schools across Europe work together to explore new ways of repairing and transforming unused garments, giving them a new life.

Marta Coca, director of the Fashion Area of the CCAM and project manager of 080 Barcelona Fashion, underlines the importance of showing collections that hybridize innovation and the avant-garde with the traditional values of textiles and craftsmanship. This edition places special emphasis on giving visibility to new aesthetic and generational perspectives, maintaining the focus on creativity linked to innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship, as the director highlights.
In this initiative by Artesania de Catalunya, it is worth highlighting 080 Beyond Crafts. A space to give value to craftsmanship and the relationship with fashion and culture. In this first edition, hatmaking will be the inspiring motif with an exhibition of pieces that show the technical and conceptual richness of the craft. Swan Salon, Javier Guijarro, Magdalena Hart, Andrea Viêntëc, Ana Vivero, Sara Huguet, Nico Alonso and Espiritu Club will participate.
080 Barcelona Fashion wants to promote the artistic vision within the world of fashion and explore how art and design intertwine, generating new connotations and creative perspectives. The 36th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion will be the last of the editions to be held at the Sant Pau Modernist Site. This is a challenge and makes the new location of the next edition worthwhile, understanding that the architectural framework elevated to an artistic discipline, interacts in the creative ecosystem of 080 Barcelona Fashion.
