Corçà adds a new space dedicated to art with the inauguration of A 304, a gallery born in the Antiga Farinera and bringing an international vision to the Girona region thanks to its roots in a gallery in Dubai. With this project, the municipality becomes a new meeting point for dialogue between contemporary art, modern art and even archaeology, breaking hierarchies and establishing unexpected connections.

The inaugural exhibition, entitled Assembling the Now , has been curated by Júlia Abad and brings together a selection of artists representing different generations, languages and perspectives. Among the names we find contemporary creators such as Alejandra Atarés, Cesc Abad, Rosa Aguilar or Gerard Castellví, together with great figures of modern art such as Antoni Tàpies, Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí or Picasso, and international presences such as Jeff Koons or Camilla Marie Dahl.
The exhibition proposes that the present is not a fixed time, but a construction made of fragments, memories and symbols. In the rooms of A 304, the works dialogue without an imposed itinerary, inviting the visitor to establish their own connections. An abstract painting can resonate with a classical sculpture; a current image can activate the memory of a distant past.

As curator Júlia Abad explains: "We wanted to create a space where the works were not hierarchical, but rather freely dialogued. The present is a fabric of overlapping times, and this exhibition wants to give shape to this fabric."
With this first proposal, A 304 presents itself as a space open to risk, mixing and reflection, where times and artistic languages meet and reactivate each other. With the curatorial leadership of Júlia Abad, the gallery wants to become a point of reference for contemporary art, connecting the territory with a global perspective and building bridges between Corçà and the international scene.
