GALGA Art has created a new tour in the form of a temporary exhibition entitled CAPS, a collective with work by Marcel·lí Antúnez Roca, Jordi Amagat, Miloš Kopták, Patrícia Maseda, Samuel Salcedo and Esterina Zarrillo where the representation of the human head will be the connecting point and thematic link of the exhibited works.

Work by Patricia Maseda.
The human head is an element used historically in the art world, but the Palau-Saverdera space pays homage to its patron Alfredo García, of whom only the head remains. A head that speaks of certainties and uncertainties, but also transports the viewer's gaze to spirituality, knowledge, banality and commitment, without ever forgetting anger or irony, love or even hatred.
The collective CAPS exhibition will be a beginning and an end, an alpha to the omega of life and death with works by six artists where Marcel·lí Antúnez presents a strip of heads drawn on cardboard or Jordi Amagat creates a series for GALGA Art of high quality representative paintings. In the case of Milos Kopták, a Slovak artist, he brings a series of heads drawn with bird feathers using color with these elements or the Girona artist, Patrícia Maseda, creates a spectacular collection of characters modeled on paper in a very delicate way.

Work by Jordi Amagat.
Samuel Salcedo has created a large-format sculptural installation with a stack of resin heads until he reaches Esterina Zarrillo, an Italian artist based in Catalonia who creates a series of witches' heads that are imaginary portraits of real female characters.
