DINOSAURIUM, a journey into the world of dinosaurs
IDEAL Barcelona reopens on November 6 with an immersive experience that combines science, digital art and technology after eight months of renovation and expansion of the facilities.
Dinosaurs return to Barcelona with DINOSAURIUM, the new production by Layers of Reality that invites the public to travel millions of years back and delve into prehistoric ecosystems. The experience, considered the largest in the world created on this universe, proposes walking among dinosaurs on a real scale in a journey that combines scientific rigor, artistic ambition and spectacularity.
Large-format immersive projections, virtual reality, interactive installations and exhibition spaces make up a proposal that transforms paleontological knowledge into a sensory experience. Layers of Reality's most ambitious production to date explores the possibilities of technology to reconstruct the landscapes and creatures of the past.
The opening coincides with the renovation of L'IDEAL Barcelona, which incorporates 400 square meters of spaces previously for internal use, destined for a new virtual reality room in 360 degree format. With this expansion, the Poblenou center exceeds 2,000 square meters and updates its immersive and interactive equipment.
DINOSAURIUM also vindicates the role of paleoart, the discipline that, since the beginnings of paleontology, has shaped extinct animals and landscapes based on scientific evidence. Artistic reconstructions have contributed to building the image of dinosaurs and turning them into icons of popular culture.
