Bonart publishes issue 204 of its Catalan edition . A new issue that consolidates the magazine's editorial commitment to connecting critical thinking, contemporary creation and the international projection of Catalan culture, with a wide range of voices, interviews, reports and analyses on current artistic developments.
The cover of Bonart 204 is starring Le Large (2026), by RCR Arquitectes, in Paris, with photography by Isabel Vilalta and Gaudí typography by Ricard Giralt Miracle. An image that anticipates the monograph dedicated to architecture, one of the central axes of this issue, which claims the cultural dimension of architecture and explores the territories shared between this discipline and the visual arts.
The editorial, signed by Ricard Planas Camps, proposes Utopia Catalonia: the non-place under construction , a reflection that opens the magazine to the possibility of imagining new cultural and social spaces. The issue also includes an extensive opinion block with contributions from David G. Torres, Montse Badia, Xavier Barral i Altet, Josep Massot, Albert Mercadé, Ortèsia Cabrera-Espuny, Pere Parramón, Marta Pérez i Verge, Vicent Fibla, Fernando Castro Flórez, Marisol Salanova and Roberta Bosco, among other authors.
The critical look at contemporary artistic institutions and practices runs through much of these reflections, with articles dedicated to cultural rights, the social condition of art, museums, the contemporaneity of Girona and the role of festivals as spaces for creation and thought.

Architecture as a space for thought
The architecture monograph brings together texts by M. Clara Riera Escalona, Conxita Oliver, Josep Muntañola and Carles Toribio, who approach architecture from different perspectives. The blog also incorporates a reflection on the shared pedagogies between the historiography of art and design, with Assumpta Bassas Vila and Gemma Reixach Villegas, as well as contributions on Gaudí and his legacy, signed by Domènec Corbella, and a look by Mariona Seguranyes Bolaños at the Castle of Sant Ferran as a refuge for the arts.
The magazine also includes an interview by Ricard Planas Camps with Jesús Navarro, from MORERA. Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Lleida, and a wide section of reports that moves between criticism, research and new forms of artistic production.
