The third episode of the Bonart International podcast, recorded in Bogotá during ARTBO, features Mexican artist Ana Sofía Esteva in conversation with Fernando Cuevas Ulitzsch at the Bonart booth. The interview delves into Esteva's career, creative processes, and approach to artistic practice, offering insight into the concerns that inform her work and her relationship with the contemporary art scene.

An artist and occasional curator, Esteva earned her degree in Visual Arts from the National School of Painting, Sculpture, and Engraving "La Esmeralda." Her first solo exhibition, "Like Salt in Food ," was presented at the Banda Municipal Gallery between November 2024 and January 2025. Subsequently, she developed other solo projects, such as "The Invisible Is Somewhere ," presented at the Mexican Art Network in November 2024, and "Vahos ," which was on display at the Ibero-American University between March and August 2025.

Their practice has also begun to project itself internationally, with their participation in the Minor Attractions fair, held in London in October 2025, and their presence at the Serendipity Arts Festival, in India, in December 2026. Through this conversation, Bonart International continues to open a meeting space with artists from different geographies, bringing the public closer to their trajectories, their research and the perspectives that articulate their creative proposals.
