Last days to visit the exhibition 'Selves I mars' by Perico Pastor in the Sala Galatea of the Alàbriga Hotel & Spa
The exhibition brings together a selection of the artist's work from the last three years, the 'Ballroom Dances' series and the small-format Chinese inks and watercolors from the 'Roses Series'.
Until Sunday 4 October you can visit the temporary exhibition Selves i mars by Perico Pastor in the Sala Galatea of the Alàbriga Hotel & Spa in Sant Feliu de Guíxols. This exhibition brings together a selection of Perico's best work from the last three years in his workshop in Poblenou, the 'Balls de Saló' series and the small-format Chinese inks and watercolors of the 'Roses Series'.
Visitors who have not yet had the opportunity to discover it have, therefore, these last few days to get closer to Pastor's creative universe and contemplate the works exhibited in this unique space on the Costa Brava.
Perico Pastor, highly recognized, has developed a career linked especially to drawing and painting, with a work that combines spontaneity, elegance and a very particular view of reality.
This temporary exhibition at the Alàbriga Hotel thus offers an opportunity to enjoy his work in a privileged setting in S'Agaró and Sant Feliu de Guíxols, before the exhibition finally closes its doors on October 4th.
'Live Painting'
It should be remembered that this past Sunday, September 27, a live painting and an Art Brunch with Perico Pastor took place, in which numerous attendees were present who were attracted by the possibility of getting to know the Catalan painter up close and experiencing his creative process live. The morning also began with an open conversation with Pastor and with interventions by the painter and actor in the Estrella Damm advertisement, better known as 'El Canyut', Xavier Gonzalez and Arnau.
One of the most important moments was when Perico gave shape to a new work live, made in black and white and with watercolor. The audience was able to follow with great attention every gesture and every decision of the artist.
After the artistic session, the day continued with a gastronomic Art Brunch in the form of a buffet, created jointly by Ruben Cueto, chef of the Alàbriga Hotel, and David Romero, executive chef of the Hotel Majestic in Barcelona.
