This summer, the Ecomuseum of the Valls d'Àneu proposes a different way of approaching the heritage of Pallars Sobirà with L'aventura cultural , a program of experiences that invites you to discover heritage spaces from a participatory, curious and research-linked perspective.

Until August 31, the proposals are displayed by the different radials of the Ecomuseum, among which are the old monastery of Sant Pere del Burgal, the churches of Sant Pere de Jou, Sant Just and Sant Pastor de Son, Sant Pere de Sorpe, Sant Joan d'Isil, Sant Llorenç d'Isavarre and Sant Andreu de València d'Àneu, as well as the castle of València d'Àneu and the watchtower of Espot. The program also incorporates the summer activities that take place at Casa Gassia.

Among the experiences proposed are Baroque Experience. I'm in fashion!, which focuses on the altarpieces of Sant Pere and some of the most unique and surprising elements of the Baroque. Also "A Little Story of Sin", an approach to the church of Son to explore how the relationship between sin and forgiveness has evolved over the centuries.

The proposal dedicated to Romanesque, Irresoluble , poses a challenge to visitors: trying to discover how one of the area's churches was built based on the questions and enigmas that its past still raises.

In this context, Sant Joan d'Isil becomes one of the reference spaces for understanding the richness of the Romanesque heritage of the Valls d'Àneu. The experience is not limited to contemplating the building, but invites you to observe it, question it and discover the stories it hides.

With this programming, the Ecomuseum claims a living heritage that is constantly being revised. The research carried out by the institution allows new readings and knowledge to be incorporated each year, turning the visit into a cultural adventure that goes beyond conventional explanation and opens up new questions about the heritage of Pallars.
