Historical heritage and digital creation establish a fascinating dialogue in Lux Mundi , an immersive proposal that transforms one of the great treasures of Catalan Romanesque into a contemporary audiovisual experience. Curated by Antònia Folguera and produced by the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the exhibition demonstrates how new technologies can become an artistic language capable of reinterpreting collective memory without losing its essence.
Taking as a starting point the emblematic frescoes of the apse of the church of Sant Climent de Taüll, preserved for a hundred years at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC), the project proposes a journey between the 11th century and the present. Light, movement and digital tools transform these iconic images into a visual narrative that looks resolutely towards the future, establishing a bridge between artistic tradition and new forms of creation.

The exhibition can be visited at the Atri Digital from June 27 to August 30, 2026, in an installation that highlights the talent of four leaders in Catalan digital creation. Alba G. Corral, pioneer of live generative visuals; Desilence, a renowned duo specializing in digital scenography; Hamill Industries, a studio that combines analog and digital processes; and MASSO, an emerging artist focused on immersive environments and full dome projections, offer four unique interpretations of the same heritage legacy.
The sound dimension completes this sensory experience with an original composition by Tarta Relena, whose voices draw on the traditional songbook of the Mediterranean to build a soundscape that transcends time. The result is an atmosphere that accompanies the projections and reinforces the sensation of crossing a space where past, present and future coexist in the same story.
