The summer of 2026 will once again have one of its most emblematic musical events in the Jardins de Cap Roig. From July 3 to August 18, the Cap Roig Festival will celebrate its 26th edition with a program that combines big international names, established artists from the state scene and new proposals capable of connecting with diverse audiences. Organized by CaixaBank and the Clipper's Group, the festival will offer a total of 23 concerts in one of the most unique enclaves on the Catalan coast, between Palafrugell and Mont-ras, in Baix Empordà.
This year's line-up confirms the artistic ambition of a festival that has made the balance between prestige, eclecticism and proximity one of its main hallmarks. Bryan Adams will be in charge of inaugurating this new edition on July 3, while Miguel Ríos will close it on August 18 with El último vals , a concert in electroacoustic format that adds a new chapter to an essential trajectory of Spanish popular music.
Between these two extremes, the Cap Roig stage will host such prominent names as Víctor Manuel, Anastacia, Amaia, Rick Astley, Café Quijano, Diana Krall, Miki Núñez, Taburete, Antonio Orozco, Juan Diego Flórez, Valeria Castro, Lax'n'Busto, Pablo López, Mika, Rosario, Malú, 31 FAM, Luz Casal, HAUSER and Ana Torroja. A constellation of artists that draws a transversal program, capable of moving from pop to rock, from author's song to classical music and from emerging talent to long-standing figures.
The official presentation of the festival was held on February 27 at the CaixaBank headquarters in Barcelona, where the organization announced all the details of an edition that once again vindicates live music as a cultural experience, but also as a driving force for the region. The Director of Communication and Institutional Relations at CaixaBank, Maria Lluïsa Martínez Gistau, highlighted the value of the festival for its local impact, stressing that Cap Roig is "a very significant project for the entity for its positive impact on the region, a clear example of how culture can generate opportunities and contribute to the revitalization of the local economy."
Beyond the artistic line-up, one of the central themes of this edition will once again be social commitment. For the second consecutive year, the Red Cap Solidarity is extended to all the festival concerts, so part of the ticket proceeds will be allocated to social projects linked to the territory where the event is held. The aim is to strengthen the community dimension of the festival and turn each concert into an experience that, in addition to being cultural, also has a social return.
In this sense, Martínez Gistau has especially highlighted that this year's solidarity programming will allow support to be given to three local entities that promote social initiatives in their environment. A line of work that consolidates Cap Roig as a festival that not only programs great artists, but also seeks to establish an active relationship with the context that hosts it.
For his part, the president of the Clipper's Group and director of the Cap Roig Festival, Juli Guiu, has claimed the balance of the line-up and the identity of a project that goes beyond the simple sum of concerts. "Arriving at the 26th edition of the Cap Roig Festival with a line-up of this level is a source of pride. We have worked to offer a balanced programme, with big international and national names, established artists and proposals that connect with audiences of all ages", he stated. Guiu also stressed that Cap Roig has established itself as "a cultural project that combines artistic quality, gastronomy, proximity to the public and commitment to the territory".
This broad perspective on the festival experience is also reflected in the family programming. Once again, Cap Roig will reserve a space for children and families with the Cap Roig Mini, which will be held on August 10. On this occasion, the proposal will be El Fil Invisible , a musical designed for adults and children that reflects on bonds, friendship and empathy through a sensitive and close narrative. The initiative reinforces the festival's desire to open up to different generations and to understand culture as a shared space.
The presentation ceremony was hosted by journalist and presenter Laia Ferrer and also included a performance by Max Navarro, singer and contestant on the latest edition of Operación Triunfo , who performed Estrelles , his first single after leaving the academy. A gesture that also points to one of the keys to the festival: the coexistence between established artists and new voices within the same cultural proposal.
