Next Sunday, May 24 at 12:00 p.m., the Pérgola del Serrallo will become the starting point for the closing of Llum, Natura Centrum Est , the exhibition project by Marcel·lí Antúnez Roca which, after weeks of activities, workshops and participatory actions, will culminate with a festive and open street in the neighborhood.
The final proposal recovers the spirit with which the project was born: taking to the streets and reclaiming nature as a collective, symbolic and transformative force. The street will bring together the pieces created during the workshops with the central elements of the exhibition installed in Tinglado 2: giants, cardboard animals, carts, flags, paper dresses and other hybrid objects that will temporarily leave the exhibition space to activate in movement.

The procession will travel less than a kilometer between the Serrallo and the Moll de Costa until reaching Tinglado 2, where the pieces will be re-integrated into the exhibition in a final action that will combine performance, popular festival and artistic intervention. During the arrival, the “eyelid curtains” will also be activated, symbolically closing this project shared between creators, participants and the neighborhood.
The celebration will feature live music by Marceluya y sus Mireios (Fail Again Ensemble), while Marcel·lí Antúnez Roca himself will lead the action with a megaphone, reinforcing the performative and choral character of the proposal.
The parade will be preceded by an open rehearsal on Saturday, May 23rd in the morning at Tinglado 2. This meeting will serve to test the movement of the pieces, adjust the rhythms and tempos of the procession and prepare the circulation of the different elements through the neighborhood. The rehearsal is also intended as a public and participatory action, where the creative process is shown without filters and is an essential part of the work.
