The Open Workshops of Barcelona are one of the most unique cultural events in the city, an invitation to literally enter the spaces where artistic creation is born. During open days, artists, craftsmen and designers open their workshops to the public to show how they work, share processes and bring disciplines such as painting, ceramics, jewellery and textile design closer together.
The project promotes direct contact between creators and the public, fosters knowledge of artistic crafts and contemporary design, and reinforces the city's cultural and creative network. Tallers Oberts BCN is thus consolidated as a tool for visibility, connection and recognition of the local creative fabric, promoting a local culture that is accessible and rooted in the territory.
In this edition, several prominent profiles open the doors of their work spaces spread throughout Barcelona, from Horta-Guinardó to Ciutat Vella, passing through Sant Andreu, Sant Martí, Sants-Montjuïc, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, l'Eixample and Gràcia. In Horta-Guinardó we find proposals such as Eia Ceràmica; in Sant Andreu, the creation of Natalia Urdaneta Benavente (UdanasArt) and JUiA Jewels; and in Sant Martí, names such as AL MAR x flota creativa, FLOTA Objetos, aiguaMarina joies, Francesca Piñol. Laboratori tèxíl, Wood&Bulb, Majka Tkáčiková or Quei15ARTgallery.

In Sants-Montjuïc, spaces such as Altar and Ivan Pidhainyi Sculpture Studio stand out, while in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, workshops such as Tossuda Studio, Morgana Seda and Taller Balam open. In Ciutat Vella, the public can discover the work of Eulalia Oliver, HÀBIT by Miquel Barberà, Martí Andiñach Wetplate Studio, Cristina2g, Mario Galindo Arévalo and Born to Clay.
The Eixample hosts proposals such as Biburu, Sílvia Ferrer Casanovas, Ambar Hoyos Ceramics, Sol E. Loràn and the Escola d'Art La Industrial, while in Gràcia, CLAYMOSS / Mònica Sáez, Aldo Alcántara, Pamela Masferrer, Bienve Ceramics, Yael Olave Munizaga (@yomismadesign / Jewelry Art Design) and Sara Pimàs at 925 pieces & jewels stand out.
Overall, the initiative forms a diverse and lively tour through the different districts of the city, highlighting the wealth of disciplines, languages and sensibilities that form part of the Barcelona creative fabric.
Unique piece 2026
Peça Única is an initiative of Tallers Oberts BCN that, in its third edition, is consolidating itself as a proposal aimed at promoting and democratizing contemporary craft collecting among the general public. The project is integrated into the program as a specific line that highlights unique works and creative processes linked to artistic crafts and design.
The initiative focuses on pieces conceived from a singular creative process, in which materiality, technique and experimentation play a fundamental role. Within this framework, more than forty professionals have developed a limited edition piece —with a minimum of three and a maximum of fifty units— which is made available to the public at an affordable price.
