Sant Jordi once again colors Catalonia with books and roses in one of the most emblematic days of the cultural calendar. This April, the day arrives with a forecast of good weather, inviting millions of people to fill the streets and squares, whether to share the tradition as a couple or to enjoy it individually. Barcelona and Girona are emerging, once again, as major venues for this collective celebration.

This year, however, the usual image of the festival presents a significant change: the works on Barcelona's Rambla prevent the installation of the traditional stalls, altering for the first time the classic route of Barcelonans during the festival. This absence transforms the urban landscape of one of the most iconic points of Sant Jordi and opens the door to new ways of experiencing the festival in the city.

Bonart present in Barcelona and Girona

On the occasion of Sant Jordi's Day, bonart will have a prominent presence in Girona, where it will set up its 32nd stall on La Rambla throughout the day, from 09:00 to 20:00. Throughout the day, visitors will be able to find recent publications and share the spirit of the festival in one of the city's key points. In the afternoon, the stall will feature Duvan López, who will sign copies of his book Soliloquis de Duván. Quan la mirada pensa, offering a special opportunity to get to know the author and his work up close.

At the same time, bonart will also be present in Barcelona in collaboration with APPEC (Editors of magazines and digitals in Catalan) and ArtsLibris, thus reinforcing its participation in the main stages of the day. In this space, two of its most recent publications can be found: issue 203 of the magazine, in Catalan, and issue 2 of the international edition, published a few weeks ago. A double presence that consolidates the magazine's commitment to cultural dissemination on one of the most significant days of the year.
