Peasant literature: from the narrative field to the whole world
MORERA is hosting a dialogue on March 26th about the rural world from experience and literary creation.
As part of the exhibition Contrapastroral, Art and Farming , MORERA, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Lleida, is organizing a conversation between Teresa Ibars, Roser Vernet and Júlia Viejobueno, writers whose works have been challenged by the territory and the rural world.
The rural world has been the setting for great novels, poems and other literary genres. However, many of these stories have been written from a physical distance, often from the cities. This event will discuss rooted literature, that written by people who know what it is like to tread stubble, life in the countryside and the smell of the earth, hand in hand with the writers Roser Vernet, Júlia Viejobueno and Teresa Ibars.
Taking advantage of the event, the catalogue of the exhibition Contrapastoral. Art and Farming will also be presented, where all three have collaborated with their seasoned writings.
