Resounding success of Sona Amer 2026 with a stellar Lucrecia
The festival closes a special edition with high attendance and a clear commitment to musical quality.
The renowned singer Lucrecia concluded the 10th edition of the Sona Amer 2026 Festival with a very bright, vibrant and colorful performance, with great success among attendees.
The concert, which was held last Sunday, March 22 at 6:00 pm at the Teatre El Casal d'Amer (Girona), was attended by this Cuban artist who has been living in Barcelona for many years. During the event, the singer took the opportunity to present her new show entitled "Album de Cuba, 30 anys de Salsa, Son i Boleros", combining salsa rhythms, Cuban sound, boleros and Latin jazz.
It should be remembered that Lucrecia has been the keeper of a Grammy and a Latin Grammy, and has shared the stage with such relevant artists as Joaquín Sabina, Celia Cruz, Paquito D'Rivera, etc... And she has been nominated for an Oscar for best soundtrack, a recognition that consolidates her international career.
To commemorate the ten years of the Sona Amer Festival, Lucrecia filled the space with her passion and joy and made the entire audience rise from their seats and dance.

To commemorate this special anniversary, the Festival organization has prepared an exceptional line-up, which since January 11, 2026 has enjoyed the performances of artists such as Los Manolos, Los Sirex, the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, Borja Penalba and Sheryl Youngblood Blues Band. For their part, the Festival management and organization have very positively assessed the number of attendees who have passed through the Teatre Casal d'Amer during these three months and have pointed out that "Lucrecria's performance has been the highlight of this edition, with a recent video that impacts its closing" and have added that "Sona Amer offers quality performances at affordable prices, promoting the participation of all audiences. In short, the festival wants to be a cultural event that, year after year, demonstrates that music can be a driver of local development, attracting audiences from different regions and strengthening the tourist appeal of our town".
For ten years, Idea Cultural Association has been the main organizer of this event, in collaboration with the Amer City Council.
