From March 19 to 22, 2026, Milan will once again become the international epicenter of photography with the fifteenth edition of MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas, the Italian fair dedicated to fine art photography. Organized by Fiere di Parma and directed for the third consecutive year by Francesca Malgara, the exhibition brings together 111 exhibitors, including 76 selected galleries—27 international and 24 debuting—as well as institutions, special projects, publishers, and media partners.

The event has established itself as an essential meeting place for artists, collectors, and art lovers, offering unique opportunities to showcase works, exchange experiences, and expand professional networks. Beyond the exhibition itself, MIA Photo Fair becomes a platform for professional growth, where participants receive expert feedback from curators, critics, and a specialized audience.
The 2026 edition proposes the theme of Metamorphosis , exploring the transformation of visual languages, identities, and modes of image production. The fair is structured into four main sections: the Main Section and three curated sections. Beyond Photography – Dialogue , curated by Domenico de Chirico, investigates the relationship of photography with other artistic languages; Beyond Reportage , curated by Emanuela Mazzonis, reflects on the changes in contemporary documentary photography; and Focus Latino , curated by Rischa Paterlini, brings together artists working on hybrid identities, migrations, and cultural transformations.

The exhibition layout is carefully designed to guide visitors through thematic itineraries that connect diverse media, approaches, and geographical contexts, offering an immersive and enriching experience. MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas not only presents exceptional works but also invites reflection on the constant transformation of the image in contemporary art, solidifying Milan's position as a benchmark in international photography.
