Crossing the threshold of the entrance is not just accessing a space, but activating an experience in motion: a subtle choreography of light, rhythm and perception. With Symphony in Deep Blue (2025), iEX goes beyond the limits of painting to enter the language of composition, where each stroke becomes a note and each surface, an expanding score.
Conceived specifically for the Hotel Arts Barcelona and developed in collaboration with Bonart, this large-format artistic intervention —45 meters long by 4 meters high— unfolds as a visual story that accompanies and transforms the architecture that hosts it. The mural does not impose itself: it is explored, discovered progressively, inviting the visitor to inhabit it as if they were its interpreter.

Blue is its backbone. In its multiple variations, it evokes both the depth of the Mediterranean and nocturnal atmospheres and interior landscapes. Organic forms, floating signs and textures in dialogue build a complex harmony, made of repetitions, tensions and silences. The work breathes like a symphony: with rhythm, with pauses, with crescendos that emerge from the pictorial matter itself.
In this universe, the sea is the first to reveal itself: liquid, luminous, open. But soon Barcelona appears, with its creative energy and its indomitable identity, crossed by the organic echo of Antoni Gaudí. Nature and architecture, water and city, merge into a single visual narrative where limits are diluted and imagination takes over.
Symphony in Deep Blue (2025), iEX not only intervenes in a space of passage, but also turns it into a full sensory experience. A work that oscillates between monumentality and intimacy, and that lingers in the memory like latent music, capable of resonating far beyond the gaze.
