From February 26 to March 2, the city of Girona will once again become the epicenter of the circus with the new edition of the Elefant dor International Circus Festival, which this year presents 76 artists spread across 24 attractions never seen before in Europe, from 16 countries. The event has already exceeded 16,000 tickets sold weeks in advance, confirming the attractiveness of the program.
Among the most outstanding new features, acrobatic groups that combine balance with trampoline and disciplines never before seen at the Festival, such as capillary force or stick juggling, stand out. Other innovative proposals include flying trapezes in a cross or throwing cups on a roller, demonstrating the creativity and technical mastery of the artists.

This year's program places special emphasis on group attractions: a group of 11 Chinese acrobats on the trampoline, a team of 12 Mongolian jumpers on the balance beam and 10 Chilean acrobats on the flying trapezes in cross. Alongside these spectacular performances, spectators will be able to enjoy classic circus disciplines such as comedy, juggling, antipodism, acrobatics on the ground (hand to hand, acrobatic adagio and contortion), balances (roller and tightrope walk) and other aerial acrobatics (ribbons, mast, rope, dental force and capillary suspension).
The Festival will take place in a giant, column-free tent, which will be connected to the Palau de Firas, which will once again serve as the event's foyer. This infrastructure will allow spectators to enjoy a complete and uninterrupted view of all disciplines, offering an immersive and surprising experience for all audiences.

The Golden Elephant Circus Festival is consolidated as the main circus event in Europe. This position has been achieved thanks to its international notoriety, the growing number of spectators, the quality of the attractions, the appeal for programmers, the economic return generated, the professional opportunities for artists and the magnitude of the event itself.
In Catalonia, the Festival is the only one that follows the criteria established in 1974 by Prince Rainier III of Monaco, when he created his emblematic festival, considered a pioneer and model for more than 13 international festivals spread across eight countries: France, Italy, Russia, Chile, China, Monaco, Hungary and Catalonia.
In its first thirteen editions (2012-2025), not counting the special edition of June 2021, the Festival has presented 995 artists who have offered 306 attractions unprecedented in Western Europe, in front of 341,077 spectators in 69 days of shows and a total of 190 performances. A trajectory that reaffirms its ability to turn each edition into a unique event and an international benchmark.
