Confluències is the new exhibition of the Museu de la Ciutat de Benicarló (MUCBE) with nine artists from Tarragona, Valencia, Barcelona and Dénia. In this exhibition, the artistic disciplines are not presented as isolated territories, but as currents that meet and intertwine. Painting dialogues with sculpture through visual rhythms; three-dimensionality is crossed by the echo of choreographic movement.

The result is a journey that not only shows works, but also activates a living space where the arts touch, contaminate and transform each other. An experience that celebrates the complexity of our time and the need to look beyond established categories. The group was born in the warmth of one of the most relevant art galleries in the city of Valencia: Galeria del Palau, where they have developed numerous artistic proposals under the direction of Trinidad Hernández.

At the MUCBE you can find works by Hans Dietter Zingraff, Martí Rom, Francisca Revert, Carmen Sánchez Oroquieta, Joan Paton, Fuencisla Francés, Fernando Barrué de la Barrera, Pasqual Gómez and Pilar Blat. Confluences are not merely an aesthetic resource, but a way of understanding creation as a shared experience.

All the creators present in this exhibition have a broad and consolidated career in the disciplines they have chosen as their field of expression. Their works demonstrate a personal universe in which years of research and constant dedication come together. The visitor will be able to discover a diverse repertoire of techniques and procedures, the result of a process that combines rigorous study with an inexhaustible desire to experiment.

What gives coherence to this diversity is the intimate relationship that each artist establishes with the materials. These are not conceived solely as means, but as engines of creation, as materials capable of opening unexpected paths and suggesting new forms. Wood, metal, pigment, stone or fibers become allies that nourish the work and push it beyond the expected limits, establishing a dialogue between what is tangible and what is intuitive.

In this way, the exhibition not only brings together diverse styles and languages, but also highlights the vitality of a shared creative process: a territory where personal research and passion for the material converge to give rise to a mosaic of artistic expressions of great richness.
