The Kumamoto native has created a summer packed with exhibitions across Japan showcasing the Japanese technique known as mitate, which transforms everyday objects into evocative scenes through visual illusion.

Mionitaure Life is on display at Kobe Airport, as well as at Donte Kagoshima and the Oita Art Museum, three spaces that will join several openings Tatsuya will hold throughout the month of August. Internationally recognized, he has exhibited under the name Miniatura Life in different corners of the globe, doing so with mitate, or miniature, where he transforms simple objects into imaginative microcosms, inviting the eye to rediscover the ordinary with wonder and charm.

It showcases a variety of works in its miniature exhibitions, including photographic and three-dimensional pieces. There will also be exclusive original works available only at the exhibition venue, as well as photo ops that will make you feel like you're part of the miniature world, offering a fun and engaging experience.

  • Jigoku Megori by Tatsuya.

This Japanese photographer has been pushing his imagination to the limit for ten years, posting small-scale, everyday scenes on Instagram with everyday objects arranged with great artistry and ingenuity. During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Tatsuya participated in the COVID Art Museum with some of his creations. All the scenes are incredibly easy to understand and are designed with a skill and creativity that leaves no one indifferent.
