The call for entries for the 2025 National Crafts Awards is open
Professionals in the craft sector can submit their candidacies until July 24 to be eligible for one of the six recognitions awarded by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
The Department of Business and Employment, through the Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion of Catalonia (CCAM), has launched a new edition of the National Crafts Awards , which this year are in their eleventh year. Nominations can be submitted until July 24 and are aimed at artisans and companies in the sector based or active in Catalonia. With these awards, the Generalitat aims to highlight the importance of crafts within Catalan society, highlighting those trajectories and initiatives that have contributed to strengthening and enhancing the prestige of the sector, while incorporating elements of innovation, quality and sustainability.
The National Crafts Awards include six distinctions. The National Crafts Award , endowed with 7,000 euros, recognizes the entire professional career of a craftsperson or company and their contribution to the development of the sector. The Emprèn Award , with an endowment of 2,500 euros, distinguishes business initiatives that combine crafts with a contemporary and sustainable vision. The Young Talent Award , intended for students from visual arts and design schools in Catalonia, rewards with 1,000 euros and a support service those projects with the most projection linked to research and sustainability. The Best Artistic Work Award , with an endowment of 1,000 euros, emphasizes the creativity, quality of the finishes and the originality of a specific work. The Prestigia Award recognizes people, companies or entities that have contributed to the social recognition of crafts thanks to their commitment to excellence and sustainability. Finally, the Restaura Award is aimed at projects that have excelled in the recovery of heritage through artisanal techniques.

At the same time, the call for applications for the Master Craftsman or Master Craftswoman Diplomas 2025 has also been opened, both in the professional and educational categories. This recognition aims to value the career and contribution of those teachers who have stood out for their excellence and for the transmission of knowledge in the world of crafts.
Individuals, micro-enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises with operational headquarters in Catalonia, as well as entities representing the sector or initiatives from other areas that have collaborated significantly with craft professionals, can apply for the National Crafts Awards. Nominations must be processed using the form available on the Business Channel and on the CCAM website .
With this call, the Generalitat reaffirms its commitment to promoting artisan talent and preserving a sector that forms an essential part of the country's cultural and productive heritage.
