The logo-art icon exhibits his symbolic universe at the ARTQUEMY gallery.
The ARTQUEMY gallery in Barcelona has been hosting Sacred Logo since April 24, an exhibition by the artist El Xupet Negre , a key figure in graffiti and pioneer of logo-art. Known for his unmistakable black pacifier, which has been part of the visual landscape of the streets of Barcelona since the 1990s, El Xupet Negre is considered one of the most influential voices in urban art on an international scale. His style, based on the repetition of a simple but forceful logo, has led him to exhibit in galleries around the world.
With Sacred Logo, the artist proposes an exploration of the cultural and spiritual meaning of symbols within the language of contemporary urban art.
