ArtsLibris MACBA Barcelona 2026 closes its 17th edition with an extraordinarily positive balance. More than 9,800 people visited the fair, which brought together more than 110 international publishing projects and obtained very satisfactory results in terms of both public attendance and sales. The figures consolidate ArtsLibris as a reference platform for artist publications, photobooks, contemporary thought and self-publishing.
One of the most significant indicators of this edition is the presence of a young audience. More than 75% of participants and visitors are under 40 years old, a figure that confirms the connection of the artist's publications with the new generations and reinforces the continuity of a project that was born in Barcelona seventeen years ago.

For Rocío Santa Cruz, director of ArtsLibris MACBA Barcelona 2026, this reality represents much more than just an attendance figure. "The fact that more than 75% of the participants and the public who visit us are under 40 years old gives credibility and continuity to an innovative and unique project in the world, which was born in Barcelona 17 years ago," she highlights.
In this context, Bonart has participated in this edition with its own stand, reinforcing its commitment to artist publications, independent publishing and the dissemination of contemporary culture. The magazine's presence at the fair has been completed with a series of podcasts recorded during ArtsLibris, which will be published in the coming days on Bonart's YouTube channel , thus expanding the projection of dialogues and voices linked to the publishing and artistic world.

Throughout its history, ArtsLibris has developed a fair model that transcends the exhibition and marketing of publications. The event has consolidated itself as a space for meeting and exchange between artists, publishers, professionals and readers, where the book is vindicated as an artistic object to be discovered, shared and experienced directly.
"ArtsLibris MACBA Barcelona 2026 has become a place to dialogue, learn and meet around artist publications," points out Santa Cruz, who also claims the value of the physical and shared experience: "Publishers and artists show us their publications, we can touch them. It is a place to be human again."
