On October 15, the Palau de Firas de Girona hosted the sixth edition of La Nit Bufona, the charity and gastronomic gala promoted by the Arcadi Armangué Barceló Foundation with the aim of raising funds for cystic fibrosis research. The initiative, consolidated as the foundation's most emblematic event, once again brought together gastronomy, culture and scientific dissemination in an evening aimed at supporting research and improving the quality of life of people affected by this degenerative disease.

The gastronomic proposal featured El Celler de Can Roca and Nandu Jubany, responsible for a menu that placed the cuisine of excellence at the service of a charitable cause. The program also included a show cooking space, musical performances, shows and scientific dissemination activities, in a combination that linked the gastronomic experience with social awareness.

The gala was hosted by journalists Marta Bosch, Xavi Coral and Raquel Sans, who accompanied the attendees throughout an evening marked by collective commitment. The event already had 650 people registered and offered several ways to collaborate, from contributions to the Fila Zero to reserving places and tables for the dinner, as well as sponsorship and support from entities and companies. In this context, bonart participated as a sponsor, joining an initiative that mobilizes different sectors of society around medical research.

The results of the previous edition had highlighted the capacity of La Nit Bufona to convene. In 2025, the gala raised more than 250,000 euros, allocated to different projects related to research, treatments and patient care. Part of the resources contributed to promoting research and access to medicines capable of slowing the degenerative effects of the disease, which has allowed more affected people to benefit.

The foundation has also supported the Clinical Simulation Center of the Doctor Josep Trueta University Hospital of Girona and has contributed to financing physiotherapy treatments for several patients. These actions reflect a conception of solidarity that goes beyond fundraising and seeks to influence both scientific progress and the daily support of those affected.
