Inclasificables , the art podcast of Catalunya Ràdio and 3Cat, returns with a new season ready to explore the spaces, ideas and voices that shape contemporary creation in Catalonia and the Catalan-speaking territories. Hosted by Ricard Planas Camps, creator and director of the program, the project proposes a journey through a plural artistic geography, with stops at creators' studios, museums, foundations and independent spaces, where art becomes the starting point for informative conversations, relaxed and open to new perspectives.
The fourth season premieres with Francesc Ruiz Abad , an artist who builds his own imaginary based on the relationships between humans, nature and the animal world. Through drawing, painting and ceramics, his work articulates a visual universe of great seductive power, in which images open the door to less obvious stories and layers of history that question conventional interpretations of the world.
In his artistic practice, references ranging from the thought of Ramon Llull to colonial expeditions are reinterpreted from a radically contemporary perspective. Color, with all its intensity, occupies a central place and becomes an expressive tool that runs through the works and challenges the viewer. With an international exhibition career, Ruiz Abad currently develops his activity between Paris and the Costa Brava, two contexts that coexist in a restless and difficult to classify artistic production.
The conversation also incorporates the perspective of Xavier Rocas, director of the Terracotta Museum of La Bisbal, which contributes to expanding the dialogue around creation and its links with the territory, materials and cultural memory.
