Medellín hosts the presentation of issue number 3 of Bonart International
Bonart began its tour of Colombia yesterday with the presentation of issue number 3 of Bonart International at the Museum of Modern Art of Medellín (MAMM), one of Colombia's leading contemporary art venues. The event provided a new opportunity to strengthen ties between the Catalan publication and the Colombian artistic, cultural, and institutional landscape, in an edition that places Colombia at the heart of its content.
The presentation brought together various representatives from Colombian cultural creation, research, collecting, and management. Participants included artist Alejandro Tobón, creator of the Bonart cover; collector Gustavo Villa; cultural manager and art researcher Silvana Tobón; María del Rosario Escobar, director of the Museum of Antioquia; historian and curator Cristian Padilla; and Ricard Planas Camps, director and founder of Bonart.
Bonart's presence in Medellín is part of a broader initiative to internationalize the publication and engage with the Latin American art scene. Issue number 3 of Bonart International dedicates special attention to Colombia, showcasing diverse perspectives on its artistic and cultural landscape and establishing connections between artists, institutions, galleries, projects, and professionals from both countries.
Bonart's tour of Colombia will continue in Bogotá, with the magazine's participation in ARTBO, where it will present Visions of Catalonia , a project designed to give international visibility to contemporary Catalan art and foster new connections with the Colombian art scene. Following the launch of issue number 3 of Bonart International in Medellín, the publication's presence in Bogotá reinforces its commitment to strengthening ties between Catalonia and Latin America and creating spaces for dialogue between artists, institutions, galleries, and professionals from both regions.
