The XXVII Montesquiu Castle Park Photo Rally has once again highlighted the creativity and observation skills of the participants through one of the most consolidated competitions in the Viu el parc program. In this edition, the contest brought together 37 photographers who presented a total of 111 images, offering a diverse look at the natural and architectural heritage of this protected space.
After the awards ceremony, held on June 27, the public can now view the winning photographs in an exhibition installed in the lobby of Montesquiu Castle. The exhibition brings together the works distinguished by the jury and offers a visual journey through different interpretations of the landscape, spaces and details of the park.
The award for the best collection was given to Albert Bassagaña Rusiñol, from Sant Joan de les Abadesses. The awards for the three themes presented this year were given to Ferran Gil Aysa, from Barcelona, for the "Repetition" category; Joan Pous Burniol, also from Sant Joan de les Abadesses, for the "Path" theme; and Anna Ortega Alarcón, from Pineda de Mar, for "Structure". In the children's category, intended for children under 12 years of age, the award went to Roc Blanca Rivas, from Moja.

The rally was held on June 7, coinciding with the Viu el parc Morning, a day designed to promote knowledge and discovery of the Montesquiu Castle Park. The three thematic axes—Repetition, Path and Structure—served as a common thread for participants to explore the environment from an artistic and personal perspective, turning photography into a tool for observing the landscape and heritage.
With twenty-seven editions under its belt, the Photographic Rally remains one of the park's most rooted cultural proposals, capable of combining contemporary creation, heritage dissemination and citizen participation. The exhibition of the awarded works now offers a new opportunity to discover the territory through the eyes of its authors and reaffirms the role of photography as a vehicle of connection between art and nature.
