Joan Perucho has highlighted the work of Antoni Cumella on several occasions, especially in relation to the exhibition at the Sala Luzán in Zaragoza. According to Perucho, “Cumella's unique capacity for invention is what brings the most originality and relevance to the world of contemporary art. Since its inception, his work has been marked by a personal objectivity, an independent spirit and a constant search for new forms. The mystery and strength of the creative process are so evident in Cumella that they make us imagine him in a space of absolute artistic freedom”.
Artur Ramon Art inaugurates on January 29 the exhibition Antoni Cumella. Architecture of Forms , an exhibition that can be visited until March 13 and that offers a complete tour of the creative universe of this unique artist from Granollers. The exhibition allows us to observe closely how Cumella developed his own language throughout his career, marked by constant inventiveness and a deeply personal view of materials and forms.

Cumella's works reveal a fascinating synthesis between creative freedom and formal rigor. His pieces, full of diverse shapes and textures, convey both an intimate objectivity and a unique sensitivity, which reflects the artist's commitment to research and experimentation. Each sculpture or work conceived by the lathe and the kiln becomes a space where the mystery of the creative process becomes tangible, inviting the viewer to actively participate in the dialogue with the piece.
Cumella's work stands out for the balance it achieves between artistic independence and emotional expression, a combination that gives it an original and relevant presence within contemporary art. In the exhibition, visitors can appreciate how his creations, often conceived in dialogue with architecture and space, anticipate current notions such as sustainability, the relationship between materials and the fusion between art, design and environment. Each form seems to await the public's gaze to be completed, reminding us that art does not reveal itself fully without time, silence and attention.

Antoni Cumella's colorful forms, the result of his work on the wheel and in the kiln, as well as those conceived in direct dialogue with architecture, anticipate concepts that we consider essential today, such as sustainability, the interdependence of materials and the fusion between art, design and environment. Within the framework of the exhibition at Artur Ramon Art in Barcelona, this dimension of his work is even more evident, offering the public a complete vision of his creative universe.
Cumella was, in essence, a sculptor of unknown forms that await the visitor to be completed with the gaze. Each piece suggests a dialogue, a time of contemplation and a necessary silence, reminding us that art is not fully shown until the observer participates in it with attention and sensitivity. This exhibition allows us to rediscover the richness of his work, the creative freedom that characterizes him and the ability to transform materials into forms that, even today, dialogue with space and with our time.
