The Biennial of Young Art, Vilafranca del Penedès and GLOPS meet at the end of November and December in a proposal that combines territory, talent and emerging creativity that opens on Saturday 22. The first edition of GLOPS was born with the desire to offer young people a real opportunity for growth in the artistic field, deploying four exhibition spaces in parallel that dialogue with the landscape of the Penedès.
Promoted by the Pinnae Foundation, the biennial is conceived as a platform for emerging creators to shine and explore new horizons, fostering synergies between artists and becoming a transformative cultural agent. The aim is to strengthen artistic production, project young talent into national and international markets, claim the importance of the visual arts and stimulate a fruitful dialogue between creators, institutions and the public. It does this with a jury made up of ten people from the art world, including Ricard Planas, director of bonart.

Young art biennials have become key pieces of the contemporary cultural landscape. They are spaces that offer emerging creators essential visibility at a decisive moment in their careers, legitimizing their work and facilitating access to professional circuits that are often unattainable for them.
In addition, they act as a meeting point between young creators, curators, institutions and professionals in the sector, generating synergies, community and future opportunities. Their existence contributes to the constant renewal of the artistic panorama, incorporating new perspectives and discourses that enrich the cultural debate and make it more plural. They also have a direct impact on the territory that hosts them, such as Vilafranca del Penedès, energizing it, educating new audiences and placing it on the map of contemporary art.
GLOPS brings together twenty-two artists spread across four venues. In the Espai Cultural Fòrum Berger Balaguer you can see the proposals of Albert Gironès, Dèlia Rodríguez Camins, Marcel Rubio Juliana and Aldo Urbano. The Sala dels Trinitaris hosts the works of Raquel Bistuer Álvarez, Al·legoria del Temps – Vanessa Méndez, Anna Fando Morell, Ana Laura Pérez Cerrato, Carla Puig and Gemma Jané. The Capella de Sant Joan presents the works of Pau Borràs Montosa, Abril Carretero, Mariona Cañadas, Pedro Murúa, Anna Llimós Vidal, Judit Luna Minguell, Caterina Miralles and Carlos Herraiz. Finally, the cloister of Sant Francesc exhibits the creations of Marc Anglès, Marta Cardellach, Emma Clapès Llorente, Francesca Riu Jacas and Paula Garcia Sans.
