Variations on a sculpture. 11 women, 11 dialogues with Enric Monjo is the new temporary exhibition at the Enric Monjo Museum in Vilassar de Mar from September 7 to October 19. Eleven women from different generations and backgrounds have looked into the universe of the sculptor from Vilassar de Mar. Based on his works, each one has developed their own, diverse and genuine interpretation, which opens up new paths of dialogue with the original sculpture.
Nowadays, painting is no longer governed by closed currents or collective manifestos. Each creator who works with this language builds his or her own universe, with codes and sensibilities that demand to be read independently. The exhibition highlights this diversity of perspectives, offering a mosaic of proposals that coexist without the need for a common style, but with the richness that plurality brings.

Work by María Sánchez.
A total of eleven paintings, arising from completely different perspectives and artistic languages, converge in the same creative experience: dialogue with Monjo's work. Each piece is a testament to the fecundity of his sculptures and their inexhaustible capacity to inspire. This set demonstrates that the art of the sculptor from Vilassar crosses stylistic and generational boundaries, inviting us to explore new paths beyond ephemeral fashions and trends. What is born from this dialogue is not only homage, but also expansion: living proof that Monjo's work continues to be a fertile starting point for contemporary creation.
A journey where we will find artists such as María Sánchez, Carmen Tarazona, Marta de Olano, Ana Miralles, Neus Roig, Ana Solé, Ana Maria Cifani, Charo Velasco, Rosa Royo, Aga Bal and Atachi Daza.
