On Saturday, August 9th from 10:15 p.m. the 26th edition of the Night of Illusion will be celebrated, which is traditionally held at the Espai Ridaura in Santa Cristina d'Aro and is organized by the international illusionist Xevi el Mag and Manos Màgiques del Món with the support of the Santa Cristina d'Aro City Council.
This year's gala will be full of national and international shows, as it will feature the following prominent artists such as: J.Figueroa, Zuk & Silhouette, Orange Magicien, Marín, Otto Wessely, Maire-Hélene and Xevi the Magician himself, as director, presenter and central figure of this evening. The Night of Illusion is a traditional magic show that reinforces the town's illusionist tradition, projecting Santa Cristina d'Aro as a place of reference in the world of magic in Catalonia, Spain and the world.
The price of the tickets (which are numbered) is 27 euros and according to sources from the organization, they are already sold out thanks to the prestige of the Casa Màgica (which is the museum founded by Xevi the Magician) and the “ Manos Màgiques del Món ” Association, which have great prestige worldwide.
Second edition of the book “ Let's Not Lose the Illusion”
Coinciding with this 26th edition, it is worth highlighting the second edition of the book No Perdem la Il·lusió by Xevi el Mag in Catalan and Spanish. This edition is distributed in the different bookstores in the province of Girona and is an updated version of the professional career, experience and magical philosophy of Xevi el Mag, which is aimed at all audiences and which serves as a vital testimony and guide for young illusionists who want to start in the magic sector.

The book aims to bring magic closer to everyone, with a very educational and accessible approach. The prologue to the book has been written by Joaquim Nadal (former mayor of Girona and former councilor of the Generalitat of Catalonia). It should be remembered that this initiative was possible last year thanks to the collaboration of Xevi el Mag with the owner of the Parcir Bookstore in Manresa, Toni Daura (publisher of the book).
The volume refers to the gestures of Xevi the Magician, with the appearance of the televisions in the house of the world, the Guinness World Record for blind driving, and highlights the role of disseminator and cultural promoter at the head of the Casa Màgica. The book becomes a kind of activism manual of the illusionist, with tricks and games designed for young and old, accompanied by drawings.
