El país dels crancs is the album by composer and guitarist Feliu Gasull that includes five works composed and created between 1995 and 2014, recorded by performers such as Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Pau Figueres, the Liceu Orchestra, and the Arrayán Ensemble.
Compositions that will be available on vinyl with the collaboration of Jaume Plena, the first time he has designed the entire graphic image for an album, alongside twelve original drawings by the artist. El país de los cangrejos (The Land of Crab) was born from Gasull strolling along Roses beach, tracing the bucolic landscape of crabs with a sense of an intimate and natural land.

Oriol Pérez i Treviño writes: “If that weren't enough, the album you hold in your hands is a unique piece because it constitutes a compendium of the close relationship between the composer and conductor Josep Pons (Puig-reig, 1957) and the singer Sílvia Pérez Cruz. A relationship as close as it is complicit, which takes us to the essence of the celebration that can be established between a creator and his musical performers, and how the latter end up being hermeneuts in the discovery of signifiers and meanings in the musical work of which the creator himself was unaware.”
