El país dels crancs is the album by composer and guitarist Feliu Gasull which collects five works composed and created between the period 1995 and 2014, recorded by performers such as Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Pau Figueres, the Liceu Orchestra or Murtra Ensemble.

Compositions that can be heard in vinyl edition with the collaboration of Jaume Plena, the first time he designs the entire graphic image of an album, in parallel with twelve original drawings by the artist. The country of crabs is born from a Gasull walking along the beach of Roses tracing the bucolic landscape of crabs with the idea of an intimate and natural country.

Cel Roig from 1995, Contra-xions from 1997, Tonades from 2013, Tres quarts for voice and orchestra from 2010 until reaching Fantasia sobre Canticel by Eduard Toldrà from 2014. An intimate, spiritual and rich journey with the characteristic language of Feliu Gasull. Mediterranean roots, with folk elements, always with enormous emotion, depth and connection with nature. It is a project by independent producer Victor Cortina where the works created by Jaume Plensa stand out.

Oriol Pérez i Treviño writes: "as if that weren't enough, the album you have in your hands is a unique piece because it stands as a compendium of the close relationship maintained between the composer and orchestra conductor Josep Pons (Puig-Reig, 1957) and the singer Sílvia Pérez Cruz. A relationship as close as it is complicit, which takes us to the essences of the courtship that can be established between a creator and his musical interpreters, and how the latter end up being hermeneutics in the discovery of signifiers and signifieds in the musical work of which the creator himself was not aware."
