Presentation of the Girona Regions Architecture Awards 2025
The ceremony will value the architectural talent of the territory and announce the winning projects.
This Friday, June 13, starting at 7:30 p.m., the headquarters of the Girona Demarcation of the College of Architects of Catalonia (COAC), located in the Plaza de la Catedral de Girona, will become the setting for the presentation of the Girona Regions Architecture Awards 2025. The event, open and participatory in nature, is designed as a citizen celebration of contemporary architecture.
The ceremony will be presented by architect Júlia Breiz and will feature the participation of prominent figures from the institutional and cultural world, such as the dean of the COAC, Guillem Costa ; the president of the Girona Provincial Council, Miquel Noguer ; the secretary of Territory, Urban Planning and Urban Agenda of the Generalitat, Víctor Puga ; the sub-delegate of the Spanish Government in Girona, Pere Perramon; the deputy mayor responsible for Ecological Transition and Urban Area of the Girona City Council, Sergi Font ; and the president of the Girona Demarcation of the COAC, Marc Riera , among other representatives of the sector.
During the event, the winning proposals of this 27th edition will be announced, which include the categories of Architecture , Landscapes , Interiors and Ephemerals . In addition, the result of the Opinion Prize , chosen by popular vote, which recognizes the perspective and criteria of citizens on current architecture, will be revealed.
