Bonart magazine celebrates its twenty-fifth anniversary this year and, from the Government of Andorra, we are pleased that, issue after issue, this project for disseminating art has been consolidated and has become, at the same time, a showcase and dynamizer of the creativity of the Catalan-speaking territories. For a country like Andorra, with limitations inherent to our size, but a more than remarkable artistic and cultural dynamism, it is fortunate to have been able to count, and continue to count, on the enthusiasm and support of the editorial team, which has treated Andorran art and artists with interest and the same care that creators everywhere deserve.
Andorran art needs opportunities for international projection and to establish synergies with the artistic universe beyond our borders, starting, of course, with the closest environment. In this sense, I would like to thank Bonart for having reflected the artistic activity in the country, both in terms of exhibition and creation, of public or private initiative, and for having, with each article, with each interview, contributed to disseminating the talent born in this corner of the Pyrenees, but which aspires, like all art, to be universal. Beyond disseminating the programming, exhibitions or festivals, beyond making artists and promoters of the arts known, Bonart is also a platform for exchange and mutual knowledge. In this way, the magazine has allowed Andorran creators to be put in contact with artistic entities in the cultural field it embraces, a fact that comes to add to the different actions that, from Andorra, we carry out in favor of the internationalization of our art.
The dialogue, of course, is two-way, and the fact of being present in the magazine connects us to the rest of the content and, therefore, to the artistic activity of other territories. We open ourselves, in this way, to views and proposals that, otherwise, could go unnoticed. In short, the work of Bonart ends up being placed at the very heart of artistic processes, becoming their driving force and not just a loudspeaker. The trajectory of these twenty-five years guarantees the quality of the magazine, of the professionals who work there, and above all the vocation that the art of the Catalan-speaking territories can interact, on the same level, with the art of any other part of the world. Therefore, the only thing left for me to do is congratulate the Bonart magazine and its entire team, and wish you a long life at the service of one of the most sublime expressions of humanity: Art with capital letters.
