The Joan Miró Foundation presents, in the photography space of the lobby, Baylach's images that accompany the exhibition Paul Klee and the secrets of nature, and which can be seen in the museum's temporary rooms from 21 October The exhibition takes as its starting point the passion for cats, shared by the dancer and photographer from Granollers and the German-Swiss artist.

The title of the exhibition refers to Bimbo, one of the several cats that Paul Klee (1879-1940) had as pets throughout his life and that he photographed with true devotion. This fascination has to do with Klee's admiration for felines as animals that do not have the same gravitational limitations as humans. Similarly, a ballerina's or a dancer's body can tap into some of the motor qualities of cats that elude the vast majority of people. In fact, Bimbo was the cat of Karla Grosch, a dancer and teacher at the Bauhaus who lived with the Klee family in Dessau. Grosch died tragically in 1933 and the Klees took over their friend's cat. Nora Baylach (Granollers, 1994) studied the photos of Klee's cats and took them as inspiration to carry out a photo shoot on the street, in Barcelona, dedicated to a single cat: an anonymous cat, with white fur , like Bimbo, and with one eye of each color.
