Wolfgang Berus

Wolfgang Berus ( Witzenhausen , Kassel , Germany , 1956 ) is a German artist settled in Cadaqués since the mid-80s. [1] He is an active member of the Ateneo de Cadaqués. [2] His work moves between material painting, expressionism and informalism , with a strong influence of nature and the landscape. To create his works, he selects natural materials from the forests and mountains and generates the pigments himself. In 2011, a retrospective exhibition was held in Cadaqués. [3]
