EDUSPORT 360: create in motion
When sport becomes a creative language in the heart of Pla de l'Estany within an exhibition at the Lluís Coromina Isern Foundation.
The 20th edition of the Pla de l'Estany Cultural Sports Competition arrives as a consolidated celebration of an educational perspective that integrates body and thought, action and expression. Under the umbrella of the Edusport 360 program, this exhibition highlights the potential of sport not only as a physical practice, but as a tool for integral growth capable of dialogue with the arts and creativity.
The project was born from the desire to unite two essential dimensions in the development of children: on the one hand, movement, play and the values inherent in sports activity, such as respect, effort and teamwork; on the other, artistic expression understood as a space of freedom, imagination and critical thinking. This fusion is materialized in collective works created by the students, which transform the sports experience into visual language.
Children from 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th grade of primary school from schools in Pla de l'Estany participated, working together to shape artistic proposals linked to different disciplines and themes. Working in a group-class reinforces values such as cohesion, collaboration and a sense of belonging, turning the creative process into a shared and meaningful experience.
This initiative is possible thanks to extensive networking involving educational centers, physical education teachers -who have integrated the project into the school program-, the Sports Council, various organizations and artists in the region. All of them contribute to making a proposal that transcends the classroom and connects education with the territory a reality.
The exhibition can be visited at the Eat Art Space of the Lluís Coromina Isern Foundation, in Banyoles, from Thursday, April 16 to Saturday, May 2, offering the public the opportunity to discover how sport can inspire new forms of artistic expression and become a driver of collective creativity.
